Dr. Brantley is a dedicated optometrist committed to helping patients achieve optimal vision. He completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University with honors and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University.

With over 23 years of practice in Volusia County, Dr. Brantley is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association, and the Volusia Optometric Society. He combines the latest technology with extensive chairside experience to deliver comprehensive eye care.

A lifelong resident of Florida, Dr. Brantley lives in Ormond Beach. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, staying fit, playing guitar, and traveling with his wife and three children.

Dr. Charles Register

Doctor of Optometry

Dr. Charles Register earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, after obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Southern Mississippi. Born to an Air Force family outside Tokyo, Japan, Dr. Register spent parts of his childhood in Panama and Alaska.

After graduating, he served at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City Beach, FL. Upon leaving the service, he moved to the Daytona Beach area. Dr. Register has been practicing Optometry in the Daytona Beach and New Smyrna areas since 1982 and founded Beach Vision in 1997. He is committed to providing excellent customer service, products, and vision care to the New Smyrna Beach community. Dr. Register is a member of the Florida Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

Residing in Daytona Beach Shores with his wife Patti and their dog Augie, Dr. Register enjoys playing guitar, kayaking, paddle boarding, and spending time with his two daughters and granddaughter.
